INTERCEPTOR "HARPOON"Present-day park of war-planes of Russian Air-Force quickly becomes obsolete. Such fighters as SU-27, MiG-29, MiG-31, which were projected and constructed in the late seventies and early eighties, despite of constant modernization from year to year more and more yield to newest western models of aeronautical engineering. Ninetieth hasnt passed utterly for Russian aircraft industry, however fans of their work - engineers and scientists of leading design offices and scientific research institutes havent lost their hearts and keep working purposeful. Young scientists and students of Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) try to make their feasible contribution to the development of aeronautical engineering. Each year the most interesting projects appear within the chair 101 Planes projection in MAI. One of these original developments is the plane HARPOON, which was projected within the graduation thesis of ARUTYUNOV Artem Georgievitch in 2005.
